We have just completed a project in Dover with SM5. Conversion of an existing premises into a convenience store and separate MOT centre.

SM:5 completed the work to a high standard. The client specification was demanding and this was achieved and exceeded in some areas. Their site management, health and safety measures and site set up were excellent. Also site reporting and information flow was good.

Contractually understanding and pragmatic. Dealt with additional works and client changes with the minimum of fuss and managed to incorporate these within the overall program term without extension.

Cost reporting, contractual management and variation management was efficient, on time and in accordance with the agreed dates and contractual requirements.

Completion and finishing of all works were to an excellent standard and both tenants were also pleased with the final finished results. The project was completed within our proposed client budget.

SM5 Developments have carried out various contracts for me ranging from small works up to much larger schemes. To be honest I couldn’t speak highly enough of them. They are very professional, competitively priced and genuinely care about the projects. They do not go over the date given for hand over nor the money agreed for build cost (unless we change things). They ensure we are completely happy with every aspect even if it means it costs them more.

I wouldn’t use anyone else again, in fact we do not even go out to tender anymore for new projects, just trust them.
